Facing for an interview


 PPD we were taught how to face an interview with all confident. There are some good points that we have focused as it can become very useful at a situation like this. To pass the interview and to make the interviewers impressed on ourselves we have to focus on those points. By following these points we can be more self-confident at the moment.


We should have done a little bit of researching about the company and the interviewers as well in terms of make them impressed on ourselves. Knowing their mission, interaction with clients and employees will be helpful to get familiar with them and to the company environment.


We should imagine the situation at the interview before the interview and we should prepare ourselves to fit to the curtain situation. Be ready to answer for common questions that can be asked ( especially why we fit to the company and why you think that the most suitable person for this job is yourself). And also by practice with a friend, make more confident at the real situation.


When we are clarifying about the preparation for interview, we should get ready with all documentations and physically as well. We should arrive 10 minutes earlier to the interview and it may help you to be familiar with the company environment. In physically preparation means for interview basically should be dressed professionally ( in both outer appearance and dressing way)


At the interviewing period we should introduce ourselves to the interviewers with all self-confident and should answer their questions without having uncertainty feeling. Also we should be capable of not sharing personal information.


 Those things are few point among that we discussed on that day…It is very important to focus even for the small detail to be sucsseded.

Paper Tower Game According to my point of view, this paper tower game which we have done in our ppd session is not just a game. It can be considered as a group activity which can improve our soft skills which cannot be developed only by doing the academic stuff. Leadership skills, speaking ability, creative thinking and time management are some of those soft skills. What is the paper tower game? First of all we were divided into three groups by counting. In this activity we were provided 12 papers, a gum tape and a pair of scissors. Apart from that, the tower that we built could be stand at the given place. Then we have to build the tallest tower within the given 45 minutes. How did we do that? First of all we had a small discussion about the way we build the tower. What you learn from PPD PPD which is known as Personal Progress Development can be considered as a guild line of our lives. Not only that but also it is energy and time saving method. From these PPD sessions that we had in our university, we were able to make new unforgettable memories as well as good lessons. According to my view, our PPD session is mainly focused on the point which is having a strategy before starting a task. We have to pay more attention to some points like the dead line, way of doing the task (analysing the task), things that make the task easier, way of getting maximum use from the given resources.
