How to write CV

Curriculum vitae (AKA CV) is something very important to anyone who wish to start their career life. As undergraduates, and as we have to face our internships in near future CV making was taught by our conductor. Not only making one, but also how to avoid common mistakes that we make during that process also taught.

There are some titles that should be included to the cv. Personal details, educational qualifications, professional qualifications, work experiences, trainings and workshops, skills and references are them. When including information to those titles, the consistency of format should be kept all the time. As this CV you giving to the company is the first thing that they judge about your personality, more attention should be paid.

First, you should select a nice good-looking photo of yourself. (without any fancy things it should be decent and smart). Then you can include your name (The name should be highlighted among all the other things you mention.). Then contact details should be included.
Under educational qualifications, your results and details about degree program that you followed should be mentioned. Afterwards, under professional qualifications, the other diplomas and courses that you have followed which will help you for your career should be included. Then you can include details, if you have any work experience before under working experiences. Your job title, job duration, job responsibilities, company and its address should be mentioned.

Then you can include details of training and workshops, skills of you and finally references. When you include skills, you can divide them into technical skills and soft skills both are important equally. When you are giving information for reference you should inform them first, and then you can mention their contact details because some people do not like to give their information.
This article is bit different form previous article of mine and it get bit long and boring as well. But I hope you get clear and broad view of writing CV. See you in the next article.
